King Solomon in the book of Ecclesiastes gave us wise advice when he wrote that “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.” (Ecc. 4:9-10). This is for me the core of Spiritual Direction. To journey with others and offer support as we altogether are pilgrims in this life, trying to find meaning in our purpose and relationship with God and with each other.
